(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Prevailing showery weather condition in the South-Western part of the island is expected to reduce temporary from Wednesday (28).
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern, and North-Western Provinces.
Fairly heavy showers (About 75mm) can be expected at some places, particularly in Kegalle, Ratnapura, and Kaluthara Districts.
A few showers may occur in the North-Central Province too.
Fairly strong winds about 50 kmph can be expected over Northern half of the island and in the Matale, Batticaloa, and Hambantota Districts.
