(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The showery condition is expected to continue in the South-Western part of the country, the Department of Meteorology said.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern and North-Western Provinces (Particularly in the morning and night) today (17).
Fairly heavy falls about 50mm can be expected at some places, particularly in Colombo, Kalutara, Rathnapura, Galle and Matara Districts.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Uva province and Ampara and Batticaloa Districts after 2.00 PM.
