(UDHAYAM, BATTICALOA) – Several people were injured as a constructions collapsed in Batticaloa on Saturday evening (20). The Police said that at least 30 people were injured in the accident.
According to reports, around 40 workers were engaged in the construction of the building and that work on laying the concrete slab had commenced on Saturday morning.
Further investigations into the accident underway.
