(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Joint Opposition (JO) states that it will field a Common Candidate for the Presidential Election in 2020.
Parliamentarian (MP) Prasanna Ranathunga stated this to the media after visiting National Freedom Front (NFF) leader MP Wimal Weerawansa who is currently in remand prison.
Meanwhile, a group of members of Mahajana Eksath Peramuna (MEP) led by its leader Parliamentarian (MP) Dinesh Gunawardena also visited MP Weerawansa at Welikada Prison yesterday (13th Friday).
After a visit to MP Weerawansa, MP Gunawardena stated that he and his group are engaged in a mission to change current government.
