(UTV|COLOMBO) – The wholesale price of potatoes has dropped to Rs. 110 a kilogramme today (27) in the wholesale market in Colombo, with the reduction of import duty on potatoes.
Sri Lanka imports 15,000 to 20,000 tonnes of potatoes for a month. Presently, imports are mostly made from Pakistan.
