(UTV|COLOMBO) – President Maithripala Sirisena on Wednesday (26) stated that he had already signed papers for execution of 4 convicts, who were found guilty over drug offences.
The President made this remarks at the gathering of Heads of Media Institutions held at the Presidential Secretariat today.
He stressed that the date on when the death penalty will be imposed has been decided, and the dates will be made known in the near future.
