(UTV|COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka Police on Wednesday (24) examined a suspicious motorbike near Savoy Cinema in Wellawatte.
A controlled explosion was conducted to open the seat of the bike.
However, no explosives discovered.
Meanwhile, the Special Task Force (STF) conducted a separate controlled explosion after they discovered a suspicious parcel in Katana this morning.
Investigations are currently underway to determine whether there were any explosives in the parcel.
