(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Nalanda College advanced to the quarter-finals of the ‘Singer Cup’ Under-19 Inter Schools Division One Limited Overs Cricket Tournament yesterday (09th Thursday).
Nalanda beat their rivals Ananda by 99 runs at Ananda Mawatha in the pre quarter-final.
Lakshitha Rasanjana of Nalanda took 5 wickets for 25 runs and Asel Kulatunge took 4 wickets for 23 runs.
Nalanda Colombo will now meet Dharmasoka Ambalangoda in the semi-final next Monday (13) at Surrey Village ground Maggona.
