(UTV|COLOMBO) – Permission has been granted by Galle Magistrate court, to detain and question a police constable in connection to the murder of two businessmen in Rathgama.
The constable is attached to the Southern Province Special Operations Division.
Meanwhile, a forest wildlife officer was also arrested yesterday in connection to the case.
The officer was arrested for providing space at Kanu-maldeniya reservation at Medagoda in Walasmulla for the cremation of the bodies.
the two mobile phones belonging to the two businessmen were recovered from a reservoir in Dikwella.
