(UTV|COLOMBO) – A special meeting of the executive committee of the All Island Private Bus Owners Federation is due to take place today (05) to discuss the amendment of bus fares.
The discussion will focus on reducing bus fares in line with the fuel prices that reduced.
The Chief Secretary of the Federation Anjana Priyanjith said the discussion is due to take place at noon today.
Meanwhile the officials of the National Transport Commission and the All Island Private Bus Owners Federation are also due to take place in the coming days.
The new government last week reduced fuel prices.
