(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa met a delegation from the Chinese Communist Party this morning (24th Friday).
The discussion was held at the former President’s official residence in Colombo.
Prof. G.L. Peiris, MPs Keheliya Rambukwella, Dinesh Gunawardena, Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Lohan Ratwatte and Namal Rajapaksa were present at the meeting.
Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa Also took part in the meeting.
In a twitter post soon after the meeting, MP Namal Rajapaksa said the discussion was fruitful.
He also added that China remained a true friend of Sri Lanka.
