UTV | COLOMBO – The Chairman of Election Commission, Mahinda Deshapriya says a full effort will be taken to count votes at polling centers at the upcoming Local Government polls.
The Election Commission Chairman addressing a media Conference in Colombo yesterday (18) said that 13,000 polling centers would be set up around the country.
The Chairman said that in addition to the police security, each candidate could also assign 2 party supporters to strengthen security at polling centers.
