(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Hambantota High Court on Friday (02) sentenced the Mayor of Hambantota Eraj Ravindra Fernando to 5-years’ imprisonment over the infamous “toy pistol” incident occurred in 2014.
He was sentenced over the case filed against him for threatening the United National Party (UNP) Parliamentarians with a pistol later claimed to be a “toy pistol” during a visit to the Hambantota Harbour.
