More Minuwangoda unrest suspects out on bail

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Three suspects arrested in connection with the unrest reported on the 13th of May in Minuwangoda have been released on bail.

The order was issued by Minuwangoda Magistrate Kesara Samaradiwakara. Our Court Correspondent said the suspects were released on a surety bail amounting to 100,000 rupees each.

The suspects have been ordered to appear before court once again on the 16th of October. Meanwhile, 18 others who were arrested and subsequently released on bail were also presented before Court yesterday.

The group has been ordered to appear before Court once again on the 4th of September.

The Minuwangoda Magistrate has ordered officials to file charges against the group during the next Court hearing.
