(UTV|COLOMBO) – Showery condition is expected to enhance to some extent over South-Western part of the island during today (29) and tomorrow (30).
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Western, Southern, Sabaragamuwa, and Central Provinces today, while several spells of showers will occur in North-Western Province, the Department of Meteorology stated.
Furthermore, showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Uva Province, and in Batticaloa and Ampara Districts after 2.00 PM.
Fairly heavy falls about 100 millimetres can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central Provinces, and in Galle and Matara Districts, the Met. Department added.
