(UTV|COLOMBO) – The fuel price formula will be reinstated by the incumbent Government, the newly-appointed Minister of Finance Mangala Samaraweera announced on Thursday (20).
Samaraweera assumed duties as the Minister of Finance and Mass Media today.
The formula was introduced by Samaraweera when he was the Finance Minister earlier, however it was removed by Mahinda Rajapaksa when he was appointed as the subject Minister by President Maithripala Sirisena in October.
