(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – A Police Constable, who had accidentally fired at the United National Party (UNP) Headquarters ‘Sirikotha’ causing damage to a glass pane, was arrested on Monday (01).
No one was injured in the shooting incident.
Deputy Foreign Minister Dr. Harsha de Silva said that the bullets from an automatic weapon pierced the glass of the UNP elephant logo and entered the ‘Panditaratne Room’ and hit the wall across.
