(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to reduce the Value Added Tax (VAT) from 15 per cent to 8 per cent, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa stated.
The first Cabinet meeting of the new Government, chaired by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, took place at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (27).
